Needing to be like St Monica!

Saint Monica,  born 333; died in 387, tradition tells us that she would go to liturgy, and then to a funeral liturgy just to hear the scriptures being read.  O what faith it must be like to just have that desire to hear the gospel of the LORD.

Jesus, grant that I may be more like St. Monica, not only in wanting to hear Your divine WORD, but in all of  her ways of holiness.† Amen
